Accelerating the Adoption of Clean Energy

The EarthShot Foundation, a nonpartisan and nonaligned 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Washington DC, was launched in 2009 to pursue solutions to the energy and environment-related problems we face nationally and globally. D-SUN is supporting EarthShot’s Terranaut Almanacs Series, a running dialogue that brings together the nation’s foremost thought-leaders and most accomplished decision-makers in business, government, and academia to discuss the nexus of issues surrounding a clean energy transition.

D-SUN is proud to sponsor organizations like EarthShot that are focused on the opportunities and challenges in producing clean, secure, and affordable energy.

A Vision of the Future

EarthShot’s mission is reflected in the following video palindrome, which showcases both the sharply divided opinion as well as the fundamentally shared principals that often characterize participants in the clean energy popular debate:

Commercial rooftops are prime real-estate for solar photovoltaics. Distributed Sun converts this unused space into energy savings.

Solar carports provide shaded parking using an array of solar panels, keeping cars cool in the summer while harvesting energy from the sun.

Vacant land can be turned into large solar farms using ground mounted solar arrays that generate revenue.
